Scottish Sun editor David Dinsmore said he shared their disappointment with the performance of the UK government.
But he said Tory leader David Cameron needed to show more evidence of his commitment to Scotland.
Mr Dinsmore said: "The big question is, 'what is David Cameron going to do for Scotland?'.
