It all began just a couple of days ago. And it only lasts for just a few more. Just as the days of summer so quickly come and go, so does the days at the Dutchess County Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.It is a coming together of traditions past, simpler times, organic times and times for your tummy to do flips on frantic rides or your toungue to lick your lips with delicious foods. Whatever your pleasures are, you are sure to find it at the fair.
Agriculturally, there are piglets, sheep, goats and cattle to see, pet and watch in competitions. There is something "wholesome" about the smell of farm arnimals. And for sanitation sake, the live stock area is fitted with hand sanitizing dispensers as you come and go.
