A finest performer and actress of her age period named “Hildegard Behrens” died in the age of 72 on 18th of August, 2009. Hildegard Behrens was travelling in Japan when she died. According to the her friend named “Jonathan” (Metropolitan Opera’s Artistic Administrator in New York), Opera Officials received an e-mail on Tuesday expressed that Hildegard Behrens felt ill during journey to a carnival close to Tokyo. Hildegard Behrens was immediately admitted to Tokyo Hospital for treatment but she died because of a clear aneurism. Jack Mastroianni (director of IMG Artists) shared the e-mail with “The Associated Press”.
The funeral ceremony of Hildegard Behrens was organized in Vienna. Her organizers said that Hildegard Behrens went to Japan as she has to perform in a musical event and also to present lessons at resort. According to an official Miyuki Takebayashi from “Kanshinetsu Music Association”, Hildegard Behrens died on Tuesday in the Hospital while she was admitted there on Sunday night
“Her son and daughter were at her bedside when she passed away,” she said.
Hildegard Behrens was born on 9th of February, 1937 in Varel Germany. She was the finest actress and German dramatic soprano; who was famous for her wide repertory which include Carl Maria von Weber, Richard Wagner, Alban Berg and Richard Strauss roles. Hildegard Behrens also a successful singer and his voice was unique among all singers. Finally we lost such a good superstar, may she rest in peace.
