The Lovin’ Cup Bistro and Brews is much more than a great place to stop and have a nice hot cup of coffee and a delicious breakfast in the morning. It is also a great place to enjoy an evening out with friends for a nice adult beverage. Not only this, but it is conveniently located right in the heart of the RIT college area at Park Point.
Anytime anyone ever hears that there is a bar opening up adjacent to a college, the first thought is usually that it’s going to be a loud, overcrowded bar full of college kids dancing around intoxicated to the top 40 pop song blasting through oversized speakers. And 9 times out of 10 this would be the correct assessment. This, however, is not the case at the The Lovin' Cup.
Once inside the lay out and artwork of the Cup immediately sets it apart from any other bar in Rochester. The large metal wine rack is an amazing piece of art itself. In fact, the metal art theme is noticed in the design of the table bases as well. The green, blue and brown color theme throughout the bar gives the Cup a welcoming and warm feel. There is a lounge area with couches and a flat screen TV that kind of isolates itself from the rest of the bistro.
