Actress Alaina:Dead At The Age Of 63:Actress Alaina Reed-Amini who starred on Broadway and TV died December 17, at St John’s Health Center in Santa Monica after a two year battle with breast cancer, her publicist Billy Laurence said Monday.
Amini, who was also known as Alaina Reed Hall before getting married in 2008, was best known for her TV roles in “227” and “Sesame Street.”
In 1976 she joined the cast of “Sesame Street” as Olivia the photographer until her departure in 1988.
From 1985-1990 she starred on NBC’s “227” playing the landlord and best friend of the show’s main character.
She is survived by her husband Tamim Amini and two children from a previous marriage.
