The fallen Hollywood starlet is said to be feverishly negotiating for the film rights to the life story of Dugard. The now 29-year-old woman attracted headlines last summer after she was rescued from a backyard Hell by a pair of quick-thinking police officers, 18 years after she disappeared from a school bus stop in Lake Tahoe.
Jaycee Dugard was snatched as an 11-year-old in 1991 and turned up in a California police station last May after nearly two decades in captivity. A convicted sex offender and his wife have been charged with the kidnapping.
We hear Lohan — who is convinced she shares a striking resemblance to Dugard — is hoping to star as the long-lost girl on the milk carton in a proposed Hollywood production about the real-life miracle.
